For plans on building foamies and gerneral RC info, RCGroups can't be beat!
WWI
Most of these plans are Vertical Laminated Fusalage (VLF) birds. A very cool design by dz1sfb. Because the skins can throw off the CG and moving/adding weight forward of the CG requires reworking, moving or enlarging compartments, I’m going to stick with profile designs so electronics (and thus the weight) can be moved around more easily.
An Albatross and Newport 17 are skins waiting on new plans.
WWII
Again I'll be stickng with the profile designs for CG reasons.
Mitsubishi A6M Zero– Skins done. Not tested. Skin designed after Zero Fighter Ace Tetsuzo Iwamoto "Tiger Tetsu" aircraft with 96 pink cherry blossom kill markings!
Polikarpov I-16 - Skins ideas in development.
F4F Wildcat - Gonna be a “plain Jane” Wildcat in honor of my dad. He checked out in one on Lake Michigan as a Navy pilot in WWII.
